Membership in ICET offers the international opportunity to network and share ideas and experiences with professionals around the world. ICET provides members with opportunities to take an active role in addressing local and global teacher shortages. Membership is open to individuals, institutions, associations and government agencies.

ICET DISTINGUISHED FELLOW AWARDS are conferred on individuals who have made significant achievements in their national arenas and substantial contributions to international education which have been adopted or emulated by the education community worldwide.

The Teacher Voice Series was launched in 2021. Its aim is to provide virtual forums in which teachers across the globe can express their views about issues that affect the teaching profession. The series also facilitates the participation of education researchers from different countries to conduct research collaboratively that investigates and reports on topics affecting teachers and teacher preparation.
